What is the strongest cable tie material?

What is the difference between 8kg and 18kg cable ties?

The main difference is tensile strength. 8kg ties (ET‑3 series) are 2.5mm wide and suitable for light‑duty bundling. 18kg ties (ET‑4 series) are 3.5mm wide and offer more than double the holding power, making them ideal for medium‑duty industrial applications where extra strength is required.

How long does a cable tie last?

Properly manufactured cable ties from pure PA66 material can last 10+ years in indoor environments and 3‑5 years in outdoor conditions. Our ties undergo UV testing and temperature cycling to ensure long‑term performance. For extended outdoor life, we recommend our UV‑resistant black version.
