Nylon cable ties are rated for use continuously from -35 degrees Celsius (-31 degrees Fahrenheit) to +85 degrees Celsius (185 degrees Fahrenheit) according to UL-94 V2 flammability ratings.

This means there are many different sizes available in a range of lengths and widths. Commonly used lengths include: 4″, 4.7″, 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″. The ET-3×120 is a cable tie that measures 4.7″ in length, 2.5 mm in width and has a tensile strength of 8 kg.

What is the longest cable tie you can get?

Nylon cable ties can be produced in lengths of up to 1200 millimetres (approximately 48 inches) with approximate pull-strengths as high as 250 kilograms. Our sales representatives are available to assist you with any longer than standard cable ties in one long length.

What is the largest and strongest cable tie?

Our robust nylon line features lengths of up to 1200mm (47″), widths of 12mm (1/2″) and a tensile strength rating of 250 kg (550lb). If you need a tie for use under extreme loading conditions, we also supply stainless steel cable ties (304/316) with a 400kg working load limit.

What size cable ties do I need?

The cable tie length should be determined by checking the bundle’s diameter. The length of the cable tie should be at least double the circumference of the bundle, which is a general guideline. Small electronic devices typically use cable ties of 4 to 6 inches in length. Larger industrial bundles may require cable ties that are 8 to 12 inches or longer.
