What are the sizes of cable ties?

Cable ties that we produce can be created in lengths between 80 millimetres and 1 200 millimetres (3 inches to 48 inches) and also in widths between 2½ millimetres and 12 millimetres. A good example of one of our 4 inch long cable ties is the ET-3×100 with a width of 2½ millimetres and a tensile strength rating of 8 kg. Commonly available sizes include 4 inches, 4.7 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches and 12 inches.

Are cable ties stronger than zip ties?

Yes, those two terms are interchangeable. While “cable tie” tends to be the more formal word used in industrial and B2B procurement activities; they both refer to the same fastening product that has the same tensile strength ratings.

What is the longest cable tie you can get?

We offer cable ties made from nylon material that can be as long as 1200 mm (about 48″) with a maximum load capacity of 250 kg. For lengths longer than this, please contact our sales department for custom cable ties.

What is the largest and strongest cable tie?

The nylon range with tension testing is constructed from nylon that’s rated for heavy amounts of weight, which includes a 1,200 cm length and a 12 cm width, with a strength of at least 250 kg (550 lbs). If additional strength is needed due to load, we produce stainless steel cables that measure greater than 400 kg to accommodate your needs.
